Former NFL offensive tackle Korey Cunningham has died at the age of 28. The New York Giants, who Cunningham played with from 2021 to 2022, issued a statement expressing their condolences.
"We are deeply saddened by the passing of Korey Cunningham," the Giants said in a statement. "Korey was a valued member of our team and we are heartbroken by this loss."
Cunningham was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in 2018 and played for the team for three seasons. He signed a one-year deal with the Giants in 2021 and was re-signed to the practice squad in 2022.
Cunningham's cause of death has not been released.
